Overview
Lilly's Valley Resort is the very first resort to be built in Kodaikanal. It was established in 1982 by Mr. Raj A. Sukumar who was born in the southern tip of Tamil Nadu, and after traveling all over India, and in many parts of the world, in the 70's he took up Canadian citizenship. During this period he happened to visit Kodaikanal and felt that the place somewhat resembled a place in England he had seen and brought the property in Kodaikanal and wanted to be a part of its future. Nestled on acres of landscaped gardens and lush lawns this resort has been built to celebrate the British colonial architectural style resembling a summer villa or farmhouse.
